Install the IPA

  1. Open the latest release and download the unsigned .ipa from Assets.

  3. Open NHV and enter your nhentai API key.

Free personal signing generally needs renewal every seven days.

A few things to know.

Is NHV an official nhentai app?

No. NHV is an independent, open-source client and is not affiliated with nhentai. You provide your own API key, and your device must be able to reach the API and image services.

Why does the download need signing?

GitHub releases contain an unsigned iOS app. AltStore Classic signs it with your Apple Account before installation. Alternatively, build and install directly with Xcode.

How do I update?

Install the newer release using the same signing identity and bundle identifier. Keep the existing app installed to retain local data. Each published release automatically builds its IPA in GitHub Actions.

Where can I report a problem?

Use GitHub Issues. Include your device, iOS version, NHV version, and the steps to reproduce the problem. Do not include your API key.
